It’s possible with the DVDFab UHD to Blu-ray Converter widely recognized as the world's first 4K UHD to Blu-ray converter.
The main purpose of this one-of-a-kind program is to downscale 4K Ultra HD Blu-rays to standard Blu-ray 1080p
If you downscale it to normal Blu-ray from this resolution would you end up with a standard Blu-ray superior in quality to regular Blu-ray in your collection?
Yes, with DVDFab UHD to Blu-ray Converter you get lossless video quality which has no noticeable difference between that of HDR10.
What’s more, audio quality is pristinely preserved, too.
Another bonus is once the conversion is done, you may choose one of the two output options available.
Either save the conversion as a ISO file which you could use it at a later date or if you want to play the file on a non-4K Blu-ray player, you could burn it to a standard Blu-ray disc.
The first step would be to download the latest version of DVDFab. Select the 64-bit version as the 32-bit version doesn't support the downscaling of 4K UHD to Blu-ray.
Insert your 4K UHD disc into the Blu-ray drive upon installation of DVDFab.
When the program opens, select the Copy mode in the main menu.
Then click the arrow button below the DVDFab logo.
When the drop down menu shows up, choose UHD to Blu-ray option.
Go on to click Choose Other Titles to select the titles you'll want to use.
If you want only selected portions of the video, you may select the necessary chapters, audio tracks and subtitles.
You are allowed to further customize your output video by clicking on the Settings icon.
Within the Advanced Settings menu, click on the Output button. Here you have two options - either select BD25 1080p or BD50 1080p.
You may also choose Custom menu under Menu Mode if you so wish.
Under Menu Settings you can also choose your own custom menu or no menu.
Under custom menu you may go on to tweak the text and add your preferred background by using the built in designer.
Once you're satisfied with your Advanced Settings, click OK.
You'll be brought back to the main interface window.
